Well, after another Monday weigh in of NADA lost. I decided to refocus my attention. It's clear to me that I am doing the necessary things to loose weight, but that I may need to focus on things like measurements to get me through my sticky scale issue. I stay in my calorie range of 1200 - 1400 and workout an hour 5 days a week (my heart rate monitor says I burn 400-500 calories each time).
That being said, in the last month, I have lost a whopping 2lbs and actually have hovered between 186.8 and 188. Boo.
Anyhow, I decided to start this thread so that we can talk about the "other" changes we see. Or Non-Scale Victories (NSV's)
I see a big difference in my arms. I used to wave hello, and my triceps would wave for me again. Now, when I do my hair in the morning, I can see a "cut" in my bicep!!
I also see a difference in my tummy. After 4 kids (and the last 2 back to back!) my tummy and hips have a lot of my weight. I have resurrected a couple of pairs of pants that now fit around the waist. Hooray!!
So...what do you see in yourself that's different??

Hard going, but I did it. I'm sure the guy on the bike next to me thought I was nuts doing cadences the last 15 minutes I was there.
...not sure I'd have the nerve...WTG!!!!
