Well the weekend is here. finally I am off this weekend and so the weekend rush is on me. just waiting for the coffee tokick in.

I have a pile of dishes laundry and shopping bill paying and al that stuff to tackel today. one thing that i am gong to do is set up for automatic payment from my bank for the bills so i do not have to deal with misplaced bils. (had the phone turned off for about 30 min this week was holding out on that bill till i forgot about it. OOPS!!! but paid and back on!!!

DD1 started a job at pricechopper yesterday she is excited and things will work out fine for me!!

DD2 is having a great time with cheer leading. i can sympathisize with the band uniforms. the girls ordered these nice racerback tanktops for the hot weather and they can not wear them they have to wear their sweaters. for all that jumping and stuff. i am pissed they ordered them out of a cheerleading book but i can understand as that type of shirt is not allowed for the dress code so the gal that selected them out should have checked with the principal first. you can not allow the cheerleaders that represent the school to wear a thing that is not allowed as dress code. so i can understand the decision. But i am out 22$ and know the girls have to cheer in hot weather in a hot sweater. the poor girls is so busy that i am worried that she will not have time to get her homework done but she is with a group that makes shure that if the grades fall she is off the team. and she does not want that. lots of practice and games. she is happy and it is so good to see that. she is one that does not have any confidence in herself. so to see her do this is fantastic and she is slimming down to a good weight with the exercise. i can relax on seeing her with the foods. she used to raid the pantry and the one who puts sugar on her PB sandwich. she is getting better and i am manking sure she has healthy choices to eat and good snacks for afterschool and before practice or games.

DS1 likes school and so far is doing good. but i need tos et a schedule for him of things for him after shcool as i am seeing him try to just play. i need to stop that and make sure he does his school work. in 4 th grade they start to load on the homework so it is reward time for that!!!

DS2 loves school and things it is just great. and does what ever he can for it. i just need to get him away from the tv!! i am thinking of god forbid me but having the boys try for the swim team AM I CRAZY OR WHAT??? that would be more evenings and more weekends i know i am nuts for thinking thast but i need to have them do something that will get them moving and out of the house for exercise or they will turn into lumps like i did!!! DH is heavy too so they have the tendancy to be heavy especially the little one. (the one that site onfront of the TV) he does not like to go out with the other boys as they get picking on him and he is very sensitive and does not take it well.

Well can you tell the coffee is starting????

enough on my life. i just needed to talk!! to bad none of my friends are up at this hour or they wouldget a phone call. i did that one time to my friend and she paid me back by calling me late at night and i fell asleep on her!! LOL

OMG, Sue! You sure are awake. I need some coffee before I can even think of today. Back in a bit!

Back! Wow, I needed coffee this morning. I don't know how folks can give it up. I usually have one cup but some days another is needed.

Yesterday started off badly and went downhill for the rest of the day. Miss Lucy got out of the house and trook off for the bush. I was very worried as usual, more so because she is in her first season and I sure don't want any puppies! I finally found her in a neighbour's field playing with her two dogs! Grrrrrr! I won't detail the rest of my horrible day but it ended with tears - me, not the dog! Today HAS to be better - except I discovered Miss Lucy has removed some of the stuffing from the new cushions on the deck!

This morning I am walking down to the Library with Hershey to get some new books. I think I'll start keeping a list of books I've read because I took out three earlier this week and discovered I had read two of them some time ago! I have to vacuum the Church too and will get that done before it gets hot. I'll do a few other odds and ends and other ends - maybe reline the kitchen drawers? - but intend to spend a couple of hours of ME time on my cool front porch.

Today HAS to be better!

Today is move, move,move day. I woke up bright and early, raced downstaris to throw on a load of laundry, raced back upstairs did some vacuuming and now I'm having some coffee and sit down time while Miree is watching Caillou. After this it's a hasty clean and dishwasher duty, pack suitcase, load carpet cleaner for Grandma, get dressed, race out the door again to my hari appointment, race back home, grab the stuff I packed and get the family in the car and drop Miree off at Grandma's house. Later we are going to see the puppies, I'm going to take some digital camera pics so I'll post them when I get home. Whew! I'm tired just typing it!

Today is my day with my Dr friend. It is going to be a long one. Older boy Dr and I are off to temple, run some errands and then to Rosh Hashanah dinner. Little man is staying with the sitter today. He is on my last nerve anyway. He lost his tooth yesterday finally and he looks so different to me.

Anyway, I am dressed and the sitter (also my very good friend) is bringing me a coffee this morning. I am showered and shaved, dried and fluffed and ready to go. The house is clean and the kids are getting breakfast. Life is good so I think I will read until it is time to go.

I have a few errands to run today, a couple of bills I forgot to pay yesterday. Where is my memory? Anyway, grocery shopping and clothes shopping for dd, I swear that child is living whole hog these days! Wish I had an excuse for new stuff! Unfortunately, that ain't happening!

I have an appt. with my PCP and I am going to hold him hostage by his tie until he gives me a referral for the endocrinologist. She is also a metabolism specialist. Hmmmmmm. Anyway, if she can help me control the flood without surgery then maybe I can start exercising again. I actually miss it. What is wrong with me??

It's Saturday and I'm at work and for once in mylife I have nothing to say. Just wanted to read about all the un things the rest of you were going to do while I was slaving away on this nice crisp fall-like day. Maybe I'm glad I'm at work

Good afternoon Chicks. I spent a couple of hours with neighbour going through a housing development called Street of Dreams. Costs $12 to get into these 5 huge houses that are all decorated and landscaped to the nines. Lots of stairs to climb but some really interesting decores to admire and the kitchens!!! WOW! I broke my diet to have a quick hot dog for energy part way through but otherwise I'm op today after a HORRENDOUS day of gorging myself yesterday. It pains me to tell you all the naughty stuff I put in my mouth. I'd planned a day off of dieting but this was REALLY over the top. Ice cream, waffles with butter and syrup, toast and peanut butter....the list goes on and on. Well, at least I got that out of my system...I hope.

It's a nice day and I should be out in the garden but I'm feeling quite pooped after all the house inspecting I did earlier.

mom and i had a nice day today, at least after she got her rear in gear. took a lot longer than usual. but nails, sugar free candy from nagels, lollipops for the return-to-school set, lunch at the seafood restaurant [a lobster and steamed veggies for me. a huge pile of fried shrimp for mom]

and all this after a MORE THAN 2 MILE WALK!!! really!!! i've broken through!!!!

but i'm tired, girlfriends!!!

and i treated myself to some new makeup from bloomies yesterday. and they were so nice, leenie!!! especially that very sweet young man with the two-toned hair and a whole belt full of makeup brushes!!!

now, did i wear any today????? NO NO NO!!!! <sigh>

i know i shouldn't complain, but i lost only 3 pounds last week. grand total of 237. perhaps it's the couple of pieces of bagel chips i've been eating every day? maybe i've been overdoing on the carbs? and by that i mean maybe 30 grams a day... or maybe i haven't been hitting the mark of 80 grams of protein a day. still eating less than 1000 calories a day, but maybe closer to 800-900 so maybe i should cut back???

or maybe i shouldn't worry so much??? but i do indeed want this weight to be GONE>.. and with less than 100 to go, I WANT IT OFF NOW!!!!

well, i'll shape up for next week, adn we'll see what happens.

on the schedule for tomorrow: laundry, groceries, maybe a trip to the farm market, and maybe a little head start on christmas shopping...

am looking forward to thechick meet at the end of september...

Good evening all! I feel like I have been MIA forever!

Been doing a ton of traveling for work, in fact off to PA tommorrow afternoon for 3 days. DS started Kindergarten 3 weeks ago....by the way now he knows everything, he is so into Karate we go 3-4x a week. DD is in preschool and dance and loves them bpth. DH is busier than He** because it is summer and everyones refrigerator and airconditioner seem to break down in summer!!!! Thank heavens for our nanny!!!!!! We would be dead without her.....I am trying to catch up on everything and get back to the board, the good news is I have been doing Atkins faithfully for 3 weeks and have lost 8.5 more lbs.

DH is at the VOLS game tonite, don't know how many of you follow college football but we have some totally rabid fans in this town...........hope you all are great, and will talk to you soon!!!

HEY!!

How are you all? I know that I should have written sooner, but to be perfectly honest, I have been too busy EATING. I dragged myself back to ww and gasped and moaned, hid under my covers and I am now into my second day of having some control.

THANK GOD!

The boys went back to school on wednesday.....Yipppeeee and Yahoooeeeee and they had three good days and are happy...not quite as happy as me...but happy none the less. Life is good.

The September skies that I usually enjoy are freaking me out. There is something different about the September sky. Is it that it is more golden? the leaves shimmer? Photosynthesis? Carbs? Now, almost a year since 9-11 it is just well....creepy. Not quite as many airplanes in the sky and some of the few are fighter aircraft but I WILL send my kids to school on that day, although I might whine and whimper...I will NOT whimp out.

nor...will that stop me from going to a craft show tomorrow.... I don't think so....although I would have rather gone to the yellow daisy do!!!!

Been gearing up on the craft front....not that I am going to actually DO any of it mind you....I just bought some "stuff"

I'm sneaking in in the middle of the night! Getting ready to go to bed, but wanted to pop in. It's been a lonnngggg weekend. Friday night I was just POOPED from a long work week, there are a lot of stressful things going on there and we have a lot of shaping up to do, and I am the one that has to help shape, so it is hard!

Today we enrolled Cody into Tae Kwon Do. I don't know how I will do it...it is on the other side of town, and I tend to have to work over...also don't know how we will swing the charges! I don't know where our money goes. The monthly fee isn't so bad, but if he wants to do the 'black belt program', which I guess IS the main goal of martial arts, we have to pay for that too, which is like 300 bucks so he can get his weapons (yep it sounds scary), plus I realized after I read the paperwork at home, we will pay 6 months at a time...eek! Right at property tax time, yay!

Oh well, this means less restuarant food, which is good. I realized today that I don't cheat at home! The only time anybody hears me talk about tortilla chips or popcorn is when I have ventured to the mexican restaurant or the movies. How about everybody else, are you good at restaurants? I am at most of them, but I bet 9 out of 10 of my cheats are done by the temptation of the menu.

I have eaten exactly on plan the last two days that I haven't checked in...do we have a current challenge thread up?

BTW, Jiff, 3 pounds! You rock!

Peach i had a huge laugh when you said you would not do the crafts. I have a closet i need to show you. actually in a fly lady fit i gave most of it away!! but you and i could get along just fine. my boys love school too and again not as much as i do.

Jenniffer i tried to get my girls in karate severalyears ago and it was not bad untill i had to start to buy their stuff and i could not affort it so we droped out. my DD1 can still leave bruises on any guy. if she wants. she used to beat the crap out of bullies that would venture into my yard and pick on the kids that played their!! so she learned some thing i had to stand onthe porch and laugh while watching them as she was half their size. I had a baby sitter that had 5 boys one of them was a year older tham my DD1 and they all would get on the floor and wrestle and fight. well Tam used to beat the shi# out of all of them and they again were twiceher size. to give you a hint she is 115 lbs and 5'2" wears size 6. so to watch her do that it is funny!!!

JIff only 3?? gosh i would keep whith what you are doing do not cut down too much as you lose more it will slow down, but also remember that you are building muscle with your walking. so do not try to focus on the scale to much. the food you are eating may suprise your system but should not make you stop losing,. you still are taking way under your bodys requirement but please make sure you are taking enough protein!! or your body will start to use the protein/muscle for fuel instead of fat. if your loss continues to slow down them make the necessary changes but give yor body a chance. you had your bezore a few weeks ago so you had a shock to your system then just be careful changing things around.

Linda i envy your trip in the housing developement. I love driving around and always wish i could go in. it must have been wonderful!!! so see the other side!1 {sigh} when i win the lottery you all can tour my house for free!! any time you want and for as long as you want!!!

Sherry i am buying my kids new stuff al the time this year. they have gone for years with the old stuff and no new school clothes and you have to wear that or you will be naked in school so for the first time i have some money i an spending it on the kids. it feels good. DD2 has had it worse she always had clothes handed down from cousings and sister so she hardly ever got anything n=ew. so she needs to be pampered with new stuff for a while. but it sure hurts when i still see the bills. it will be a while before i am cought up. but i am working on it!! trying to get allthe OT that i can get right now.

Hello everyone! It's a beautiful day here in sleepy SC. We are off to grandma's house this afternoon, and I am so mad at the ex I could just shoot him. He waltzes back into our lives after 2 and a half years, and tries to assume his old role. "Where have you been, why haven't you called, blah, blah, blah." Why does he think he still owns me? I owe him a big explanation today, right upside his head! We never talked this much when we lived together, for God's sake!!!!!!!!

Okay, forgive me, I won't rant anymore. Went out for girls night last night and saw Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. It was quite different from the book, but still entertaining. Reminds me of my good old southern (read crazy!) mother. What a trip!
