Since that time, I have recently read a book called The Diet Denominator which I found on amazon while searching "volumetrics." It is based on the principles of Volumetrics. I guess if there's a diet it's closest to, it would be the Weight Watchers Simply Filling Technique (old Core plan).
On the Diet Denominator you don't count calories, you learn to figure which foods are high and low in caloric density, and you focus on the foods that have a low caloric density. Over time, this will cause weight loss. It's not a quick fix, but a way of eating that I feel I can follow.
I am starting this plan tomorrow. Anyone here still on Volumetrics? I can't find a recent thread. Thanks!
