So I'm back on the diet through the center but have decided to lay off their pills, mostly because of the expense and also because I don't feel they work for me or are needed. My question is about taking my own multivitamin and flaxseed oil. Do I take them as directed on the bottle or do I take them as directed by MRC for their supplements?

I would take them as directed. The pills from MRC are formulated for 3 times a day so the dosage may be the same as a pill that states once a day. I know I've taken some nonMRC fish oil that was a 3 a day.

I take my own multi-vit and follow what it says on the label. For the oil I would suggest taking it into the center, which is what I did, and asking them how many to take. I know the oil they have us take is more than what would be required on a normal diet. I was told that because their diet is so low in fiber one of the things the oil does is keep you from getting constipated. My center doesn't mind my buying my own vits You aren't required to buy theirs so please ask them.

My center told me the same thing. Even told me what to buy and where it was cheapest!

I do take MRC6 because I had an awful lot of prednisone belly to lose, and I have lost over 38 inches from my body since the first of the year!

I also bought their fat and carb blocker to take while I was on Vacay.

I take an OTC multi-vitamin (from Wal-Mart) and same with the Flaxseed Oil. I was told take 3000 mg of the oil a day (1 pill at each meal).

I do take the MRC6, but not sure it's doing anything. I am losing inches (obviously!), but was told I'd lose a couple inches for every pound. My pounds are more than my inches so far. Just opened a new bottle though, so I will at least finish it. Then not sure if I'll "buy into" another
