First off, I'm 26..currently 166 pounds, 5'4", and a 38G (probably TMI but I strongly believe these puppies account for some weight!) I hit my all time high weight in December which was 176. Since then, I've been doing my research and not just dieting but eating properly. I calorie count using Spark People and adhere to about 1200-1300 calories per day, 135 carbs, 30 fat, and at least 60 protein. I also consume about 3 liters of water per day.
I do not have cheat days since I look at the big calorie number needed to be hit by the end of the week for my Saturday weigh ins. I do, however, drink alcohol once per week, usually on Saturday evenings. I've switched from beer to rum and diet coke, of which I can never have more than 4!
I was doing cardio elliptical intervals for 1hr about 5x per week (machine said about 680 cals burned..I know that number is bloated!) but I inflammed the tendonitis in my knee and took about 3 weeks off while resting it and taking prescribed medicine for it.I've been back to the gym about 3-4 times per week using the elliptical for 30-35 minutes since the injury.
If you look at my before and after, I've gone from 176 to 166 in almost 3 months!!! I was 165.2 two weeks ago, 165.0 last week, and now this week went to 166. I am anticipating my period this weekend and missed it last month due to the stress in losing my beloved dog to cancer. But it still doesn't make sense!!! Two years ago, I was 172 and hit the gym and only eating 1100 cals per day and consistently dropped 2lbs per week for about 8 weeks and ended up at 146. That time I did all of the "fads" and took Hydroxycut, etc. This time I'm actually eating healthy, whole foods and it's not coming off. I've tried to be patient but at thiss point, 10 pounds in almost 3 months is not acceptable!! Advice?????????? (Sorry it's so long!)
