Happy St. Patrick's day everyone! My mom's from Belfast, so I'm kinda into the whole green mode today!

* green undies & bra??? Check!
* green shortbread shamrock cookies with green sugar sprinkles! check!
* green sweater, touch o green eyeshadow & green eyeliner?? check!!

We have one lady wearing a necklace with a rubber duckie with a shamrock on its chest.

I pretty much wear green just to keep everyone away.

I used to wear orange....as my ancestors are Protestant Irish...but I got so tired of explaining (and getting pinched)...now I just wear green and sometimes include a splash of orange.

Oh, how interesting! This is probably unrelated, but my aunt and uncle in Holland are all about orange. It's the team color....or something.

Actually, it's not unrelated. William of Orange (of William and Mary) was from the Netherlands and he's the Protestant king who defeated the Catholic James II at the Battle of the Boyne.

All i can think about during St. Patrick's day is having my hair twisted into curlers, which I got to wear to school. Every year, my Irish dancing company would make us dance on this rickey old stage at the Catholic church in my hometown...I sorta dread this holiday.

I'm also wearing no green. Bring it on...

My dad's birthday was yesterday on St. Patrick's day. I just wear green to celebrate so I won't get pinched. He claims since he was born on St. Patrick's day he can get away without wearing green and not getting pinched.

I had a riot last night, I was the designated driver for my nutty friends, all hammered on green beers LOL I drank 2 diet cokes and said no thanks to beer nuts and chips and nachos! **gold star** hahahahah
