I need to re-set my stomach on Daylight Savings Time

  • When I re-set my clock late Saturday night, I wish I had the ability to let my stomach know that meal-times also were about to be pushed an hour ahead into the future.

I'm ready for an early lunch. And I know I'll also be hungry enough to want an early dinner.

Snacking healthily during these intervals helps, but even the timing of my snacks is off.

I hope that I can I get readjusted quickly. I'm a person who thrives on routines.

Anyone else dealing with early hunger today?
  • I have to sympathize. It amazes me that my body clock gets so out of whack with only a 1 hour change.
  • Light bulb moment!! That's why I'm hungry today! LOL! I've been a clocker watcher today, and that makes sense. I'm pretty scheduled about my meals and snacks.
  • I eat dinner really early to start with (at 5 - I'm like a granny getting a jump on the early bird special), so with the spring time change, I'm pretty much eating at 4 then super hungry because while I can get myself to eat earlier, I can't get myself to sleep earlier. This really is my least favorite of the time changes.
  • I'm okay hunger-wise, but I had myself in the habit of getting up every single morning at 6:30 so I have time to work out before work. Now I'm waking up at 7:30 I have to start setting my alarm and getting up all groggy again.
  • I woke up this morning sooo hungry. Ding ding ding. Must be why. Poor body doesn't understand whats going on!
