  • Darn..another week of no loss, but, no gain.

Serves me right for that huge meal I had last night. Well, I did manage to salvage a few points since that was a birthday dinner for my cousin. I was good..took the desert home and it is still sitting in the fridge! I love chocolate, but, looked at that huge fudge covered brownie and decided I love not gaining those pounds back even more. Maybe tonight when I get home, I'll try a smidge of it and put it in the freezer.

Can't wait for the weather to start cooling down..and here in Arizona, 99 degrees is cool! lol

    Have a great week....

Hi geminisue. Good for you....no desert? I'm a real sucker for dessert and specifically CHOCOLATE!!! I would toss that cake out, I really don't trust myself alone with it. I'm curious....how long have you not had a loss or a gain? From your last post it sounds like its been happening alot. Maybe your body is just adjusting to your new size, and whats been happening. Did you take measurements at the start? In the past when I haven't experienced a wt loss, I did notice a loss in measurements. Just a tip. Please don't be disscouraged.

Today was a good day for me. I too ate a big meal last night. Dh and I went out with 4 other couples to Outback steakhouse. And although I tried to eat cautiously; the hour was very late (after waiting nearly 2 hours in line) and then eating at 9:30pm....also, I sampled a bit of a blooming onion. So today, was the rebound to back 'on plan day' and I managed to bank 4 pts!! So a yippie for me. Hope tommorow is a good day for you. tc

Sorry ......forum is closed right now...(???),but I'll post this when I can.
  • Hi angel eyes...

    Thanks for the encouragement

I didn't take measurements, like a dummy, however, I have noticed my clothes hang much looser than before. I purchased a new pair of jeans a size smaller and they now look baggy. I think my flab is turning to muscle or something. Many of my friends have commented on how much I've lost and they can't believe it is only 18 lbs (so far). I have also lost most of my double chin. Even my ankles are smaller and that I noticed because I have had to use a different link for my ankle bracelet.

I'm jealous!...I love those bloomin' onions and since starting WW, I haven't been eating out as much to avoid temptation (and making them at home just isn't the same).

At least my body, for the most part, is cooperating even if the scale is playing mind games

    Thanks again...
    Have a great week!
