100 pound lost tattoo in progress

  • I'm not going to post all the before and after pics, as I'm sure you've all seen them, and if not, there is a link in my signature. I'd just add this post to my old one, but can't figure out how, so sorry for the new one!

I have been wanting this tattoo for about 3 years now (since my daughter was born), but put it off because I was so overweight. I finally set up an appointment for my 100 pound goal, and I made it! I was there at the tattoo shop all day (11-8) and all we got done was the black part, so I have to book another full day just to do the color! Am not looking forward to that because just the black hurt like a mo-fo, and there is twice as much color to do.....eep! I've attached photos--if you can imagine it, there will be a rainbow created by colors inbetween the music lines. The colors will come down to spiral off. Below the music lines will be a bunch of blue/teal hues that match up to the rainbow (last color on the rainbow will be purple), and the blues will have some more little stars to create a sky like effect. The stars won't be outlined really when it's done, they'll just be negative space surrounded by the color. FYI the music notes are my daughter's initials (ABC).

Not really a weight loss goal, so not sure if this is okay to post here...but it was a goal of mine that I finally met and am feeling really proud of it to have finally felt comfortable enough with my body to have gone in! Admittedly, my arms still need a bunch of toning up and whatnot, but I at least felt comfortable enough to go in and have some guy playing with the flabbiest part of my arm for hours on end, which I never would have done before! Also, when I took these pics, I felt comfortable enough to post them on my facebook page....I haven't had a full body shot on there in YEARS....and even then I think I photoshopped them or cropped them out. I didn't edit these at all (Even if I may have sucked in my tummy, lmao). So that was another mini goal of mine that I accomplished.....now if only next time I can take a picture without needing to suck in my belly, I know I'll be set! Another mini goal is to finally go in and redeem my full body massage that I got for Christmas at this place with a younger male masseuse. I may let someone tattoo my arm now, but still not feeling comfortable enough to let someone knead my thighs! Still working up to that, lol. Okay, thanks again for all the support, and I should post again in 8 more pounds when I reach ONEDERLAND!!!!!
