My name is Mandy! I have been overweight ALL my life. I don't ever remember being small! At Christmas I gained 30lbs and hit 260lbs! I couldn't believe I "let" myself get to that. That is higher than when I was pregnant with my youngest son! I knew I had to do something. I am doing the Body for Life plan. I started January 11 and in 6 weeks have lost 10lbs! YAY! I'm proud of myself. I am currently at 250 but never thought I would be happy to see that number! lol My short term goal is to lose a total of 20lbs by April 5. That will be 12 weeks on this eating plan.
December 3 will be 10 years that my husband and I have been married and we are planning a trip to hawaii or mexico. So that is even more incentive to lose weight. I would LOVE to be 150 by then but am not sure if I can lose 100lbs in 9 months! I dont really care how much I weigh as long as I look fit. Like I said, I don't ever remember being small so I don't even know if I CAN get to 150!
