Hi all,

I decided to put this in the 40's section so you all could show me some empathy

This morning, the sun was shining through the kitchen window and I was standing there helping my dear sweet husband get his cooler ready for work, when he said "this lighting is really harsh on you".
Gee thanks.
I said "what, is it really accentuating my wrinkles?" "No, your pores."
Oh great, not only do I have to worry about wrinkles, now I have big pores, too!!!

LOL, very nice of your DH. At least you know he's always honest with you...

Last year my then-7 DS told me that the new principal was a lot younger than I am. When I asked him how he could tell, he told me that her face wasn't all crinkly like mine; very nice.

Haha. Kids and husbands. What would we do without them?

with out them we'd probably have a little more self esteem. jk

Don't we just love the brutal honesty of husbands and kids. My DS7 gives me his honest opinion about my weight all the time. Just lovely.
