My little sister got engaged (well, she's 28 so not so little...) on Feb. 2 and she has been debating for a few weeks which of us to ask to be her maid of honor. There are four of us and I'm the oldest. She's no. 3.

And she called me the other day to tell me that she decided to pick my other sister (No. 2) to be her maid of honor because she doesn't want me to spend the next year focusing on her and her wedding -- she'd rather I spend the time focusing on myself and on getting healthy. She would rather help me than let her wedding be a distraction for me.

I thought that was really sweet even though I was disappointed at first. Gives me even more encouragement to feel that loved.
