Hello

  • Hello, I am new to this forum. In the last year I have lost 28 lbs with eating healthier and a bit of exercise. I still have to lose 16 lbs to reach my goal 121 lbs (55 kgs). I am 5'4'' and 23 years old. I recently started doing bikram yoga and it isn't helping. Probably I am eating more.

So I have devised a plan for 8 weeks to 16 lbs.

    For the first two weeks:

Food: Water, tea (plain), milk with cereal (once a day), vegetables, fruits, eggs, chicken (may be), yogurt.

Workout: Bikram yoga everyday and walk for at least 30 mins.

I want to be 132 (60 kgs) lbs by March 6th. Please cheer for me and help me keep motivated.
  • to 3FC's ~ sounds like you are doing well already, so you are doing something right. Keep up the good work. This is a great place with lots of supportive people. We have lots of different forums and threads: age and weight-related; topic-related; diet and exercise; general chatter, and much more. Take a good look around and just jump right in wherever you feel comfortable ...

PS ~ at 137 lbs and 5'4" you may be getting very near a weight that your body is content with; and as you lose, your weightloss will slow down considerably as you near your goal, so the yoga may not have anything to do with it ...
