Water

  • Wow... it seems that ya'll drink A LOT, A LOT, A LOT of water (I've been reading old threads a lot, to catch up!) and WOW. I was reading in "the library" all the great things water does for you, but I didn't really catch anything that says what it does for weight-loss. Could someone fill me in? Also, how do you know much water you're supposed to drink? THANK YOU SO MUCH!
  • Water works for me
I find that water fills me up between meals and snacks. Having a glass of water, temporarily distracts my thought from the chocolate bar or similar item on my mind. It works for me!
  • I have found that water has been great for my skin I'm not sure about weight loss... is it because I'm eating less or the water? or maybe both?

"they" say to drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces - in your case it would be 114 ounces. I was doing that but have now adjusted my goal down to 64 oz/day. I couldn't really see the difference. Plus I eat a lot of fruit - and you get a lot of water from that.

  • I am pretty sure that your body needs adequate hydration to be able to actually flush out the fat.

But Nasus (nurse lady should really answer this one.
