To echo Robin’s recent thread, I nearly broke down over the endless joy that comes from being slender and healthy. I just got an email from my mom – she found the garter she wore when she married my dad. My aunt Peggy also wore this garter at her wedding.

How wonderful to be at a healthy weight. There is no way the thigh attached to my 200lb body could have wiggled into a tiny garter worn by my size 4 mother.

I can’t tell you guys how happy I am to have this chance to wear something of my tiny little mother’s at my wedding. It’s fabulous and sentimental and makes me almost cry.

I promise to hike up my skirt and give you guys a great pic of that garter!!!

It is amazing how many wonderful things continue to come along that make the weight loss such a blessing. Every day something happens to make me grateful for the smaller me.

The endless joy - that's it. It's a constant, never ending stream of wonderful-ness! Literally not a day goes by where I am not taken aback at all the incredible things that being slim brings about.
