Hello everyone. Im new to this place, and one of the younger larger ladies. I am trying to get into shape once again. I am trying to find good exercise equipment for 300+ women without breaking the bank.
I have tried to start by simply just walking. but living in Louisiana... in the deep deep south of hot, humidity, and rain rain rain doesn't always make that an easy thing to do! and being that im a student my "me" time isnt until dark. and im just not too happy about walking about at night!
I would really like to try to get into shape at home since i live in a small town and our gym options are horrible. and very clicky, tried it once and only got stares. horrible experience. and made me feel like high school all over again!
im pretty much up for anything... good equipment, things that may have worked for you, plans, videos... anything you might have to share!

) Go to the hardware store and buy 8 foot, (longer or shorter depending on your arm length) of heavy cording/rope. Jump 100 times daily. Buy two gallons of water, and lift 100 times daily. Get a step stool, (or a real step works great) and step up and down 100 times per day. You don't have to do it all at once, and you can break it up into 4 or more intervals. Just do it every single day. Though I would highly suggest getting your eating plan completely in control before you start any excercise. I wouldn't even consider exercise until you have lost your first 25 pounds by diet alone...I think baby steps work best for us Chickie's in the 300 pound range. If you go full throttle into this, you'll probably get burned out. Hopefully you haven' burned yourself out already....
And if you don't have a dog, maybe a neighbor or friend would like their dog going out for 30 minutes a day.
