Cinnamon is VERY good for you but I don't know about weight loss- it does help your digestive system so their may be SOME truth to it.
I've heard adding honey into that mix is even more beneficial

Make sure you strain the tea before adding the honey though (I assume you do already anyways).
Not sure what you are doing but the best "tip" I can offer is to eat lots of healthy, non-processed foods and exercise daily
