Good morning ladies,
Gee, what happened to last week and the weekend? It went much too quickly.
This project at work is kicking my rear-end still. I come home just mentally exhausted.
On a good note, I'm still sticking with Medifast and am staying focused. I've just got to get exercise back into the picture.
On Saturday, Spanky and I participated in our first group ride at the training barn. Anne held a mock show as they have several ladies that show in the quarter horse breed shows and the season is about to begin. Spanky did awesome for his first time. He didn't care about the other horses and he did pretty respectable about getting into the proper frame. Compared to the other trained horses, I was very pleased. Even more so because Spanky isn't being ridden by Anne to get to this point. Anne is teaching me so I can teach Spanky. And I did pretty good compared to the other ladies as well.

We're on target to be able to hit our first local horse show in April. I may have Anne ride Spanky during April to get us so we can show on two circuits this summer. Who knows, maybe we'll be at the paint breed shows next year. All the more reason to get this fat under control. I need to look good!
I've been crocheting up a storm. And I've started my first knitting project. Keeping my hands and mind busy have helped with wanting to snack while watching TV.
Its snowing here again today. We had lots of snow on Friday but the temps were just warm enough that it melted almost as fast as it hit the ground. That's not going to happen today. We live in an area that is supposed to get heavy snow today; not so bad up in the city. I'm working from home today so I don't have to waste time trying to commute in.
Carol - Glad to see you back. I thought about you last week. I'm so thrilled for you that you did it!!! Can't wait to see the pictures!
Judy - I bet you are enjoying that lack of significant snow! Our snows aren't so bad either except it melts and makes a mud hole in between snows.

on achieving your 10%! You're doing great!
Deb - Did you walk? How is that new grandson? Congratulations!
Georgia - You've been through the ringer lately. Your birthday sounds like it was just the kind of day you needed. You did great with your choices.
Valerie - Good to see you making it back. I'm with you on the sugar. It certainly makes a difference for me too.

for your loss. You're still doing payroll aren't you?
MsEmory - Welcome to the group!
I think that catches me up for last week.
I better get back to work!

to all!
