TGIF!!
The kids have 3.5h early dismissal today. I think it's dumb to get them into school and then send them home IN the snow. But I guess the reasoning is that this is one day they won't have to make up at the end of the year. The way we're blowing through snow days, they'll be in school until July. I don't need groceries, but I think I'll run out and pick up some movies this morning before it starts. If we do get 2 feet of snow, then it'll be a while before I get out again. For Christmas, I got the box set of Moonlighting, so maybe I'll break into that.
Heidi, hope you can get those kids out today!
Okie, congrats on the new sizes!
cottage, maybe I'll get the kids to help me mess around with the Wii Fit this weekend. Did you hear that there's more snow coming on Tuesday?
mmc, good job not letting the scale get you down. The whooshes are fun!
sound like you had a good week,
Chelby!
Have a great day
Karen!
Twynn, I'm sure the kids will love your talk - the vet is always the most popular on career day at my kids' school! They always want me to come in, but since I can't discuss weapons or show things blowing up, it would be a pretty boring talk!
Hey
Cyndi, have a great day and maybe see you for vino tonight. I think I can make an exception for a glass of wine. It's 11 days now. I've been looking forward to it!
I seriously considered throwing a suitcase together last night and heading for somewhere warmer. I am NOT looking forward to this! Yesterday was Girl Scout cookie pickup as well, and the Kashi bars I ordered from Amazon (for the kids) came. I have a weakness for those, and probably shouldn't have ordered them at all. So I am going to be snowed in with goodies in the house! This could get ugly. I think I'll get some butternut squash soup going in the crockpot, and Chelby's got me thinking about veggie soup too.
ETA: Hi Kim! I'm glad the error is in your favor - that's doesn't seem to usually be the case!
