Tough times

  • I'm finally able to check in again! I wasn't away because of avoiding, unfortunately i've been spending all my time either at work or in the hospital visiting my mother. A week ago Sunday she went to the ER and they found she had a brain tumor, she had surgery Tuesday and she is now recovering and should be on her way to rehabilitation tomorrow and hopefully we will be able to get her home soon. All this has been going on and I wasn't able to make great choices with what I was eating while spending so much time away from home. Now that I feel comfortable with how she is doing at this point i'm able to concentrate more on getting to the grocery store and planning my food out so that I don't have to eat cafeteria food at all. I'm going to throw myself back into phase 1 for a little bit to get rid of some cravings I have been having. I managed to put on 3lbs last week, but it thankfully came back off as of this morning. I know it was the junk I was eating that did it... I hate being an emotional eater, but chocolate is so darn comforting

    Hope everyone is doing well
