  • Awesome goal. Don't fret about the space. Encouragement, support and accountability seem to be what 3FC is here for. I won't wish you good luck, just good willpower.
  • You're not "wasting space"... we're all here for some accountability. Stick with it!
  • Sounds like a great goal. It is not a waste of space, that's what the space is for - helping us to reach our goals.
  • Thanks -- trying to keep my "mentality" up. I've been fairly active at the weight loss game for about a year now. Went home for Christmas and saw folks for the first time in a year. I'd lost 91 lbs and no one said a word. Found myself looking in mirrors to see if it was noticeable -- I mean I know I'm still fat but I thought it was still an accomplishment...so I'm a bit discouraged because ya work this hard, this long, and it's not worthy of notice...and I'm whining, deeply apologetic...

  • Good job hitting the gym! And 91 pounds is a huge deal. If people didn't notice, they are blind. My guess is they didn't say anything because they didn't want to embarrass you.
  • No doubt true. One of the ladies in the office called me aside one day and said, "I know I'm not supposed to say anything, but you are doing a really good job."
  • yep, you are doing a great job, keep it up!!
  • My favorite thing about what you've done is that you didn't **wait** for the first of the month. Starting something *right now* is so key!
  • *bump* just trying not to lose the post
  • Fallen off the path, trying to get back on.
