went away, but now i'm back!

  • Hi everyone,

I was on here about a year ago and kind of stopped. But now I'm back! My highest weight (that I remember) was 253 in high school. I'm 23 (in 2 days) and I'm at 195. That's great and all but ugh, I can't seem to motivate myself to continue losing weight. The weather is terrible here so I don't want to leave home and a few months ago I "officially" got my first boyfriend so we eat...a lot. We're both trying to cut back but so far, no dice. I've also had a few crappy situations ranging from health emergencies to legal troubles that have brought on a bout of depression ultimately leading me to a therapist. She told me to list my stressors and my weight is probably in the top 5. That's why I'm here. I love coming to this forum because everyone here is soooo supportive. Anyways, I've uploaded a few old fat pictures and a couple recent ones. As for my ultimate goal, I would like to weight between 130-145.

    ...and look like Kim Kardashian...

  • Glad that you're back! It's fabulous that you have kept your weight off so long. Your pics look great!
  • Hi deathnotronic!
Congrats on all of your success so far - wow, the before and after pics are great, you look wonderful - but I know you're ready to get back on track and reach your Kardashian goal -the support you need is here - we'll all be here to cheer you on.

Glad to have you back with us! There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here since last fall, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of going off track or giving up. It has made all the difference in my success so far.

So welcome back - you're in the right place - jump right back in by inspiring us and being inspired!

All the best - good luck with your goals,
    Lee

  • Welcome back!

    Cheers,

    J
  • I remember you! Glad you're back in the fold!
