I met my goal over a year ago, maintenance???

    I went on MF in April of 2008 and lost 25lbs within a few months. I actually lost twice as much as my goal and looked a little too thin. I bounced back and forth into ketosis for probably 6 months and during that time had no problem maintaining my weight loss. I felt so energetic, in fact I was probably a little too hyper. My periods stopped all together during those 6 months. Over the last year I have briefly gone into ketosis a couple of times and my cycle is interrupted during that time frame. My weight in the last year - I have gained back 10 of the 25lbs I lost so I am right on target with the original plan to lose 10-15 lbs. but for some reason I struggle with wanting to lose that extra 10 that just basically fell off me during the summer of 2008. I have given up eating bread, rice, potatoes, sugar, etc. but any time I eat carbs like quinoa, bulgar, couscous, oatmeal I can't get enough of them. I have a hard time controlling my portion and I can see that my stomach gets pudgy. My plan is to have 3 MF meals everyday and 2 lean and green. You would think on that amount of calories and exercising 3 times a week that I would be able to lose a few lbs. - no such luck!

    If you thought you looked too thin, why would you want to go back to that weight? It can be just as unhealthy to be too thin as it is to be overweight. Perhaps your doctor can advise you on a good goal weight?
