Not afraid of jeans anymore!

  • Ever since the beginning of high school (about 7 years ago) I was terrified of blue jeans. If my pants were not black, I thought my legs looked huge. From time to time, I did buy jeans and have a collection of sizes (6-12).

Before I started my journey, 50 days ago, I tried my size 10 jeans that I haven't worn for 3 years. They didn't fit obviously. I couldn't even zip the up without pain.

Today, I was able to fit into them AND they were actually too big!! Now I am no longer afraid of jeans and hope to one day fit into the size 6!

Is/Was anyone else afraid of jeans? Did anyone try on an old pair of jeans lately?
  • I use to be a size 22 and I'd constantly wear them. Finally when I could fit into 16s, I bought a new pair. Haha. I was so afraid to try on new clothes.

Me too! I wasn't afraid of jeans specifically but I hated buying new clothes (I always went up in size and it was depressing). Now that I've gone down from a 24 to 14 (and shrinking) I'm not as scared to try on new clothes.
  • I wear the same few pairs, but I'm horrified of going to get 13's so I'm kind of in denial. And few of my 11s and none of my smaller jeans fit anymore. So I guess I have to lose weight because I'm too scared to get bigger sizes. I try on some of my old jeans sometimes and I usually end up feeling depressed when they don't fit up over my huge thighs.
