I tried the South Beach diet before. If you're new to dieting, all the advice out there can be overwhelming. I know that I, for one, really needed someone or something to tell me
exactly what I could and couldn't eat. It worked out really well for me! I still recommend it for anyone who is just starting out.
But the strictness of it made me fall off the wagon. There's way too much room to fail!
So now I'm just counting calories.

I'm trying to have my weekly average come out to be 1600 for the next two weeks (and if that turns out to be too much, I'll try 1500).
