So, here I am. I am 29 and 315 pounds. I started weight watchers online this week. Since my schedule doesn't really allow for meetings, I'm seeking out all the support I can.

A bit about me. I'm a college student. I work full time in the "problem customer" department at the nation's largest catalog retailer. Stressful but fun! I have recently left a bad home situation and live with two guys in a one bedroom house and everyone sleeps alone. Figure that one out? lol

I'm just not interested in going it alone this time. So, hi!

We have a ton of spots for you to investigate...the 20-somethings, for those in that age range, the 300+ or 100 lb clubs, and a great WW forum that includes a ton of people who use the online tools.

So find a spot or two or twenty, jump on in, and get to posting.

Sounds like you have your hands full - glad you're in a better place now - the support you need is here - we'll all be here to cheer you on.

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated and inspired - you'll be a wonderful addition to any of them. There's also info and first hand advice on different eating plans (like WW) and exercise to help get through the ups and downs. The 20 something forum might be of interest as well.

There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way - no one here is going it alone.

I've only been here a few months myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of going off track or giving up. It has made all the difference in my success so far.
