  • Better Friday
Well I had this thing going, and then went and checked my email, and this thing froze up. Brandon's fever broke sometime durning the night, and he is doing better. Still not eating and still has the bottom end thing going on, but now I do too. Thought you'd all like to know that. Christie, you really aren't that far from goal are you. You can do this lady, one meal at a time, one exercise at a time. Monday we start our challenge for the fall fun day, and there are 6 things we have to do each week, so that is what i'm going to concentrate on. If I do these things it will be the most focused i've been in a while. contest goes for 10 weeks. Summer, thanks for the information. We did that when we found out about his kindey reflux. But didn't really think about doing it this time. They didn't put him on antibodics, cuz it was basically just 2 virals and of course he had both at the same time. Brandon is still a little stuffy, but he will get through that also. Still not eating yet. While the little guy was sleeping yesterday, i found a tops web site that had a list of all kinds of programs. Sherri said these are sent to the leader each month, is there any way someone can scan some of them, and email them too me. The web site is http://www.gilanet.com/topsnm/topslinks.html under the program title. There is a list of about 100 topics and i thought a lot of them sounded really interesting. Eleni, Sherri- how did you all do. Penny still missing you. Coco, CC, all you ladies, I sure hope you are doing awesome on this thing. We are here for you if you need us. Well I've got to get busy, and do somethings. You all take care. We can do this thing.
  • Hi Everyone,

I showed a .25 lb. loss this morning. I had hoped for more, but any loss is good and I'll take it.

Wendy.....I'm glad to hear that your little guy's fever has broken. Hope the other is better soon. On that list of programs, each chapter is sent a booklet every other month. They are supposed to be kept in the chapter and be available for anyone that wants to see them or give a program. If your chapter doesn't have them they can be ordered. But you do need the correct form to order them. I believe there is no charge for them. We have a notebook that we put them in as soon as they come in. There are some great ideas for programs.

Christie....Glad that you are going to be around more often. We need all the motivation that we can get.

Have a great OP day everyone, and I hope to see more of you posting your menus daily. It does help.

  • Wendy,

I am so glad that the fever finally broke. I hope it stays that way for awhile now. Did you gazelle it today girl? You need to.
Hang in there girl. Your routine will come around eventually.

    Nita,

Congratulations on the loss. That is great. Like you say any loss is a great one. That means you are still headed in the right direction. Keep up the great work. The points are working for you.

    Christie,

Great job on the turtle. That is great because at least you didn't gain. Now that you maintained for a week now you can really get busy with all that fruit and the colosium and really have a loss this week. Remember you can't come home from work until you work out girl.
    You can do this.

    Summer,

You can do this to girl. You have pulled off amazing losses in the past. Just concentrate on what you need to do. Drink your water, stay away from the CARBS, and stop buying the candy.LOL You will be back in leeway next week. Then you can start to come down again also so that you are not so close to losing your status every week. We are all struggling. It wasn't a great summer for a lot of us. We really got off track. Well I new season is just around the corner and it is time to shed our old ways and start fresh again. You can do it.

    Eleni,

How did you do last night?

As for me. Well I faced the metal monster last night after 2 weeks and I had a 5 lb gain. I was surprised it wasn't more. Plus I finally got back on track yesterday ALL day and I was so proud of me for it. I actually wrote down everything I ate all day. I stuck to my points where I wanted to be also. I ended the day with 22 1/2 pts. So that was great. Plus I worked out at curves again last night for night 3 this week. I plan on going back tonight if I can. My scale was down 2 lbs this morning. So I know I am doing great. Plus I had to go to the store last night and thought I would get ice cream or a candy bar. Well I was so proud of myself that I didn't get any junk at all. I made it out of the store without junk. Just want I needed to get and that was it. I talked myself out of the junk. Then on the way home I shouted with joy at myself in the car saying how proud I felt that I overcame that hurdle. I knew it was the first one I jumped in a long time without giving in. I knew that was my first step to staying on track. So I was happy. Now I am looking at it daily. Taking one meal or hour at a time so I can do this. I will have a loss this week for sure.

It felt great to stay on track all day with no mistakes.

have a great one everyone. Until later.

    Sherri
