Hello

  • Hi
My name is Ehecatl, and I am starting my dieting again, and I know it will be successful this time, because I am tired of feeling the way I do, physically sick, it doesn't help my fibromyalgia and my bad bad and knees to be overweight,I am 46 and a single mom, I am native american and a college student, studying to become a psychologist. So I will be hanging around and getting some tips and support and staying on the program, I follow Weight Watchers type format,it's the easiest for me. Good luck in your journeys.
  • Welcome!
  • Sounds like you have a lot on your plate! I know what you mean about feeling sick all the time - that is what is motivating me to change my lifestyle as well.
    See you on the boards
  • Wow - I always admire single moms and especially the ones who are on a diet. I'm single and working fulltime, and I feel like _I_ don't have enough time on my plate! Well done

Annie - also a new one
  • Hi Ehecatl!
You're a busy lady! Sounds like you're ready to go with determination and a can-do attitude - the support you need is here.

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained! There's also info and first hand advice on different eating plans and exercise to help choose the right ones for you and get through the ups and downs. The forums on obstacles like fibromyalgia and on WW might be of interest as well.

There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here a few months myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.

So welcome - you 've found the right place - join in by inspiring us and being inspired!

All the best - good luck with your goals,
    Lee

    Happy Holidays!
  • Welcome to 3FC and good luck with your goals.

    Hugs
    Michelle
