Lunch at Bertuccis

  • Hey everyone, so tomorrow I'm having lunch with a friend at Bertuccis and of course they don't have nutritional info. I know that the lunches come with rolls (which I won't touch), and salad (which probably has loads of sky-high caloried dressing.. hopefully i can "fake eat" it).
I'm not sure what I should order. I'm thinking I'm gonna get the tuscan minestrone soup and a side order of the roasted tuscan vegetables.

I was wondering if anyone could take a look at the menu and see if there was something better that I could get away with.

    This is the menu: http://www.bertuccis.com/#Menus

For me, this is a good meal. I personally don't mind eating little meals but I know that my friend will make a thing out of it so maybe if I didn't eat any salad and got a chicken meal? I dunno...?

Do you think my original choice will be ok? I realize it will be loaded with sodium but I'd rather the sodium than the calories.

    help...
  • It's hard to know, I don't know your location so not sure the menu is correct depending on the location I choose. I did however choose a random state and I'd personally go with the grilled chicken chopped salad or the Insalata salad with grilled chicken, dressing on the side.

Or, get the half insalata salad with the small minestrone soup if you want salad but don't want gruff from your friend.

The broccoli romana sounds good too... now I want to go with you for lunch tomorrow! LOL

I think your order sounds great to be honest... it looks like there are quite a few good options on the soup, salad and sides menu. Have fun tomorrow!
  • Thank you soo much for your input! I should have mentioned I'm in Massachusetts.

Haha bensempress, I wish I had another gal along with us who was a bit health conscious! My friend is a tiiiiny thing who claims to eat whatever she wants.. who knows?

    Thanks again!
  • And remember you can ask for them to grill your chicken plain, without a marinade on it too. Also, in addition to getting your salad dressing on the side, ask that they serve you all the "stuff" that goes on the salad on the side also so you can build your own.
