Merry Christmas all!

I pray you all are safe and warm with family and friends. We have a housefull of people and are hoping to go just outside of town to my Brothers house for lunch. The weather is snow and blowing and ice!

Mele Kalikimaka! We spent the morning snorkeling at the tidepools today- it was a beautiful sunny day, with nice cool winds to go with it. We spent the afternoon at our friends' house and shared good food, good laughs and good wine! Then we came home and watched the terminator (hubby and son were dying to do this) so it's been a filled day for sure. I hope everyone had a wonderful day and I wish everyone the very best

Evening all-- it's the 26th here and shaping up to be a pretty fantastic tomorrow.

I just did really well, then buggered myself up again. Went to McDonald's for a seared sweet chili chicken wrap- on its own, no fries! Got it and the tortilla was ruined with the sweet chili sauce (ugh). So.... I scraped what I could off (it was dripping with sauce and mayo-- very disgusting!) and tossed it through some fresh lettuce from the garden then had a bit of reduced-oil Good Seasons Zesty Italian. Very nice.

However, I ordered a caramel sundae. With extra caramel. And I put in heaps of Heath's Toffee chips in it- mom sent some for Christmas.

Stupid stupid stupid! Now I feel a bit sick... like, my stomach's going to rebel any moment. But for a moment, I felt like I did something good.

Anyway, we had a great Christmas; we spent some time at the beach (DH went for a swim even with the sharks, I opted out like I do every year because no one should see me in a pair of togs) and with our nieces and his family. Since I live away from my family (about 10,000km away), I gave them a call. Usual family drama ensued.
