My hubby is naturally slender, always has been since childhood. Me, on the other hand, I've been chubs since puberty with a couple of dips into healthy weight-land. I watch what I eat and I'm very conscious of the number of goodies I allow myself and the amount of oil I use in cooking. Hubby just eats. A lot. He easily eats 2 -2.5 cups of rice for lunch and the same for dinner yet he looks like he nibbles on a cracker all day.
If I could offer some advice....Ignore your husband's weight loss. Congratulate him if he wants recognition but don't use his weight loss as your motivation to lose weight. That sort of motivation lends itself to frustration later on when you lose at a slower rate than he does. I use self-motivation in that
*I* want to see 150, so
*I* will do what it takes to get to that number. I've found that to be more productive than engaging in competition with someone. I was competitive with my sister a couple of years ago and when I slipped a couple of days in the week and didn't lose, I felt frustrated and gave up. Then gained all the weight back and felt even worse. I don't want you to throw away all your hard work - 20 lbs!!!

- just because you're frustrated at the disparity in weight loss between you two.
