Hola! I found this lovely website by chance, and I have to say, I love the community already! So many nice and encouraging people.
My name is Rachel. =3 I didn't care much about weight loss or fitness until recently, because even though I've been overweight for years, I never considered it much of a problem. Then I weighed myself one day several months ago and did some calculations... I was obese! Yikes! I was about 164 lbs then. Now I've been hovering around a more manageable 160 lbs for a month or so, and I'm ready to change!
I definitely think I need help though, which is why I came here~ ;D Prom here is in May, and I'd like to get myself in a healthy fitness range by then, and hopefully shave some of that extra baggage too! My goal is 142 lbs, but I would be very happy with 145 lbs. So, 15-20 lbs... not too unrealistic, right?
So hello to everyone! Hopefully staying active on this website will help me stay active on my ambition too. :D


I have a lot more weight to lose than you, but in any situation its certainly not impossible! I would join one of the support groups. One of the best things you can do is plan plan plan, find what works for you and stick to it. You can do this!
