new AGAIN

  • hi all i am Catherine and been on here more than once but this time feel that i have cracked it via a healthy eating plan called

LOW GL.I don't know if anyone else is or has heard of it but is is a step up from GI(glycemic index)
It sorts out what happens to the food when it goes into our bodies.
I have been on it less than 2 weeks and feel so full all the time,it has to do with keep blood sugar level controlled,

Hope this continues and would love to hear from anyone else or the USA equivalent thanks

  • Welcome back! Today is my first day back in awhile as well! Hopefully I can get the motivation I have lost in these past few months back!
  • Welcome Back!
  • Nice to meet you!
  • Hi Catherine!
Sounds like you're back on track and ready to go - no looking back, just moving forward -the support you need is here - you can do this - and we'll all be here to cheer you on!

Glad to have you back with us! I don't know about the LOW GL but there's info on the GI in different forums that may be helpful - just do a search on it and see what comes up. I'm on low calorie/low carb and I refer to the GI as well.

There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here a few months myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.

So welcome back - you 've returned to the right place - join right back in by inspiring us and being inspired!
  • hi catherine! best of luck in your journey! do you mind explaining more about the low-GL diet?
