  • Welcome back to the site and congratulations on your weight loss so far. I wish you the best on your weight loss journey!

    Cheers,

  • Good for you for getting back on track!
  • It's so easy for weight to creep on because just a few added foods can really increase the calories. Last year, due to some major problems, I gained almost 70 lbs. Now, I'm losing and I feel a lot better. Getting started is SO hard, so you did that....just hang in there....it sometimes feel slower than a snail's pace, but it's worth it in the long run. The three main things that have worked for me are: counting calories, keeping a food journal and working out 5 or 6 times a week. If you are consistent, you will see results. Well done for getting going!
  • WELCOME BACK! Cathy
  • Hey, girl! I know exactly how you feel. I weighed myself for the first time since the summer and gained 15-20 lbs. I was like...WHA??? How is that even possible? I still don't know what it is, but I'm blaming it on an increased intake of pop.

You'll get there! You'll just have to keep going.

And congratulations on the .5 stone! That's a real accomplishment. I remember an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer where Buffy is about to stake this old lady at a funeral home who is about to emerge as a vampire after being bitten. Her friend is like, "Is this really necessary? This woman hardly seems a threat." And Buffy says, "One vampire at a time. That's the only way I know how."

Good luck, and keep us posted on what I'm sure will be a successful journey.
