Making AWESOME veggie soup!

  • I am learning how to revise 'old' recipes with newer, healthier ones!

    This is my recipe:

    2 8oz. cans tomato sauce
    1 can corn
    1 can green beans
    1 can peas
    1 can new potatoes, sliced
    1 lb ground turkey
    3 chicken bouillon cubes
    2 cans water
    3/4 chopped onions
    2 cups cabbage, chopped
    4 bay leafs (to be taken out before eating)
    1 Tbsp Garlic
    Pinch oregano
    Pinch pepper
    Celery seed

    I calculated it all up and it would be approx. 144 calories per cup! YUM!!!! I'm so excited to eat it!

    ETA: Actually I recalculated and it would be 159 calories per serving (cup). This recipe makes approximately 8 servings.
