Menu Planning

    Thought I would start a thread about our menu planning. I wrote my menu for Friday and would love feedback/ other peoples plans, it gives everyone new ideas and provides a place for point issues! Thanks all, good luck!

    B (3): Maple and Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal (3)
    Coffee with ff 1/2 and 1/2 and splenda (0) is that right?

    S (1): Apple (1)

    L (3): Sandwich (2): WW bread (1) Hillshire Farm Ham (1) Mustard (0) Lettuce (0) Carrots (0) Lite and Fit low fat Strawberry yogurt (1)

    S (3): 24 Special K Crackers (2) triangle of Laughing Cow Low Fat cheese (1) Carrots (0)

    D (7): WWe english muffin (1) 1/2 Cup Prego Spaghetti Sauce (1) Low Fat Mozzerella Cheese (1) 3/4 cup Whole Wheat Penne Pasta (4) (I made an english muffin pizza and a side of pasta)

    S (1): WW Kettle Corn popcorn (1)

    I like to leave a few extra points incase i inevitable miscalculate!
  • You need more protein, more dairy and less carbs. I see no veggies with dinner and only 1 serving of fruit. You are really heavy on the carbs. Protein keeps you feeling full longer. And where are your good fats?
  • How is mine ?

    60 min treadmill in the AM

    M1 - 1/4 c oats , 1/2 cup peaches , 1/2 c almond milk + 1/2 scoop protein powder *** 3.5

    M2 - 1/3 c brown rice with about 1.5 cups steamed veggies (broc, peppers)
    2 T teriyaki sauce and 3-4 oz chicken (I counted as 4 oz) ***7

    M3- yogurt sf ww , 1 T PB ***3

    M4- kashi bar and apple ***3

    M4 - ww meal pita steak thing and 1/2 c ice cream sf ***8

    grand total 23.5
