This may be a silly question, but when I eat healthier I also tend to eat more fresh fruits and veggies. How do y'all store them?
I have a fridge that's a little wonky so it tends to get super cold sometimes and freeze the contents so the only thing I store in the fridge is cooked left over vegetables, carrots and a cut onion halves. Things like green peppers get chopped and go straight in the freezer; onions and potatos go in the pantry and everything else goes in tied up plastic bags in a basket on the counter. The only problem is recently some of my squash has started going moldy really quickly ( a week sooner than it used to go bad). I just don't know if it would hold up well to being refrigerated. What do you think?

It's a short period of time when the temps in my apartment are "cool" during the day. Texas might be similar
