So I went to the Dr this morning to get blood work . I have been on Tricor for 3 months and they have to do a routine check to make sure meds not causing problems with my liver. So I was talking to my Dr and she was telling me that I was doing well and that me having 1500 to 1800 calories daily was no problem. Then she left the room. I was sitting their and Ted ( Nurse)came in and said he need to get my weight( Because he didnt do that) so I went in stood on the scale and man I was ever shocked it said I weighed 288.8 he had to run in and tell my doc and she was very happy. I love their scale I weighed in this morning to see the difference and mine said 293. As much As I would like to say that I lost 26.7 pounds I will stick with my scale and say that I have lost 22 pounds But what a difference in scales. i go back in a few months so I will have to see how things go then.

Isn't that great, to have a nice reaction at the doc's office? Good for you! Keep on keeping on!

I really envy you because my doctor's scale always says more! AND, I got a new scale 10 days or so ago and it said 2lb more than my old digital. So, I would say this is a rare occurence, something like an eclipse of the moon, and you should give thanks to the good fairy. ha. And, by the way, mucho congratulations on your weight loss.

Thanks everyone. I was soo susprised that it said I weighed less. I fully expected it to say I weighed more so I was prepared to say other wise But yes it was a good feeling seeing them numbers down from 315.5 I was surley happy.
Next time I go back I will blow them away with more weight loss. I had a bad experience last year with another dr in this office he told me I needed to loose weight but I was doomed from the start because you jest cant loose weight by your self. Plus the fact that as much as I needed to looose was not something I would be able to accomplish by myself and since My insurance doesnt pay for any type of Surgery then I wont make it very far. Sooo I am jest waiting for the day I can go back in their and see him and show him I did do it regardless of what he said to me . Ill show him. Im loosing weight and Ill take names later.
