Greetings all! I am 24 and looking for weight-loss friends. Recently, I took a really good look at myself in the mirror. I don’t like what I saw. It has really made me reflect on the choices that I have made thus far in my life. I finally realize that it is time for me to step up to the plate and make changes. I have spent a substantial portion of the past five years lost, lonely, and finding comfort in food. Food has been my “friend” on many occasions. I am an emotional eater and often find myself binging without even thinking about it. I feel that this sickness is causing conflicts in all of my relationships. Well, I have had enough of food controlling my life. I know that I am the only person that can make the change. I just feel that I need some sort of guidance. That is what brought me here.

Hi and welcome! Im actually new here too. I started counting calories and working out last Tuesday. Today was my weigh in and Ive lost 6 pounds. Its an amazing feeling! I also started a blog on the site and it has really helped and will be something nice to look back on when I reach my goal!
What kind of plan are you going to go with?
I am going to eat more veggies and lean protein. I am also going to be more active. I just finished 2 inclined miles on my treadmill.
