I'm bummed to be away from Canada, missing delicious dinner and time with my family, but it definitely helps me stay on my plan!! (Well, missing dinner does. Missing the fam jam just bums me out!)

Jelbb, I think it snowed all over the place yesterday - I heard it snowed in my hometown in Ontario, but I heard from friends in Winnipeg and Alberta who had snow also. It has me dreaming of a white Christmas back on Canadian soil (where I belong!!!)

ha, we had snow on Thanksgiving once, just makes more sense as I was in NJ and our Thanksgiving is at the end of November...

Calgary had snow on/before Thanksgiving as well! I celebrated on Saturday with my two best friends and my boyfriend - it was my first time fully "hosting" Thanksgiving as I'm living on my own now (in England, I haven't been home for Thanksgiving for four years now!) and thankfully it was a success! I did eat a lot... and drank quite a bit... but it was fun and totally worth it!

Today is the US' Columbus Day, so my mom and I both had today off of work (we both work in schools). Without even realizing it, she's making a turkey dinner for us! haha So, technically we're kind of celebrating Thanksgiving too!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! We cooked turkey dinner for the children at the preschool on Friday..they thoroughly enjoyed it...one 3 yr old said it was " the bestest Thanksgiving ever!" soo cute...

I didn't get to have Thanksgiving dinner at home because my boyfriend went back to Alberta yesterday morning.
A friend and I went to a high end chinese buffet and i ate tons of seafood..haha.

my husband and i ran the half marathon yesterday in kelowna, which meant we were out of town for turkey dinner. so LOTS of exercise and no gravy for me!

I'm thankful that thanksgiving is OVER!! I ate too much, and the food was TOO good! I went to my grandma's, and have no leftovers It was also my great uncle's 69th birthday, so today we had cake. Needless to say, there will be no such things in the coming days! This was also my first thanksgiving with my family in 5-6 years.. maybe longer.

ETA: we got 9cm's on Friday night, and another 3 cm's today. It's mostly all melted now, so I'm also thankful for that

glad to be in vancouver! It was sunny! Pretty chilly though.
I love the family part of holidays but glad those dinners are out of the way. Weekends alone are hard for me to stay on track and I had a 5 days off.. SO hard!
