One week, already lost!

  • So I'm convinced that my body does not like being 160lbs (or more). When I was 170lbs (about 2 years ago) it took very little to lose 20lbs. Just portion control, no more snacking, and a little exercise. But I just couldn't seem to lose the last 10lbs (I was shooting for 140lbs). I got discouraged and eventually I gave up trying to lose and satisfied myself at 145-150 (constantly fluctuating).

Then, skip to last week, I was back at 160lbs and got tired of not being able to lose, no matter how "healthy" I tried to eat.

Last week I decided to start counting points (not officially a member of WW, but doing it on my own). I was at 160lbs.

I weighed in this morning at 155lbs! After breakfast! Yay!

I'll be posting a longer entry in my 3fc blog in a bit. I just wanted to share my little success. I feel like I haven't even *tried* the past few days. I've been staying under my point limit and yet I've felt great about *what* I can eat. I'm looking forward to losing more!
  • Wonderful! I am so glad you decided to give a go on your own; I knew you could do it, and it is just as rewarding.
