Red Team - Week 4 Challenge

  • Morning everyone.. I am taking the liberty of starting this thread so that we can get a jump on the challenge and start out from the word go this week! The idea for the challenge is not mine though.. Shan posted the idea..lol It will be a strength training challenge, and Shan I think this is an awesome idea as I have just added strength to my routine... so I think it is a perfect challenge for this week. They say you shouldn't do more then 3 days of strength in a week so this is what our check in template will look like... please copy and paste it into a new post and update that one post accordingly.

    Accomplished - TBL Power Sculpt video Level 1 (30min) (and TBL Cardio Max L2 as well and I have been gettin cardio in on the days in between ST too)

    Day 1 (Tuesday)
    Plan - Walk/jog 30 minutes/strength training
    Accomplished - did not get to walk b/c of rain. 20 min strength training, 100 sit ups,50 lunges and 100 jumping jacks

    Plan - walk/jog/strength training
    Accomplished -walk/jog for about 20 minutes and 10 minutes of arm weights

    Gym: 30 min treadmill, 30 min weights
    Missed, been kinda lazy this week

    Day 2 (Friday)
    Gym: 30 min treadmill, 30 min weights, 1000 yd swim
    Accompished: 30 min treadmill, 15 min weights (arrived late and didn't have the time to finish weights before work), 1100 yd swim

    Day 3 (Sunday)
    Walk up Stone Mountain (weather permitting- alt plan: gym 90 min)

    *I included cardio in my plan as well, just to keep me accountable. I'm much more likely to skip out on my cardio than my weight training

    Accomplished- Yes, really really hurt too!

    Day 2 Friday
    Plan - Gym circuit - upper body.
    Accomplished- Car broke down 100km from home - walked the streets of Surfers waiting for it to be fixed. At least 15km.

    Day 3 Sunday
    Plan - Gym circuit - lower body
    Accomplished- Nope, did upper body instead due to lots of walking Friday.
