Full Fast? Healthy, Unhealthy? How long & how much?

  • I noticed, while browsing threads, that a few people are on what they call "Full Fast". I hadn't heard of this since Oprah did it way back when. I'm assuming this means no L & G. How many meals do you get? Is there a greater ketosis risk? If I'm plateau-ing, can I do this to unstick myself? Is there a limit to how long you can do it and stay healthy?

    Thanks!
  • I was wondering the same questions. I did a full fast a couple of days last week and drop a full pound each day. I look too forward to my L&G to do it all the time, but I bet it works. I would love to hear more info.
P.S. I havent found any sugar free yogurt either!
  • Definitley talk to someone who has done it. BUt, I know people who have done both and they lost almost exactly the same (w/ same starting point and body type). One said it was easier to acclimate to one meal a day knwoing after the weight loss part was over she would have to eat again to maintain and the meal made it a little easier. The other said it was easier to go full force with one and when the time came to work the meals back in she would. I am torn between them, too. I think one would be easier to worry about and the other might be more like real life and not "dieting".

Hopefully, other people will weigh in.
  • I did MF for awhile but I have switched to the products sold by DIETDIRECT.COM The Wonderslim and Bariwise products are awesome, taste better, less expensive, good free shipping offer and discounts. A full fast can be done with these products but you would use 8-9 supplements and take a multivitamin. I have not done the full fast but a few of my friends did and there was really no difference in amount of weight loss as the calories are about the same. I bet if you guys try these products you wont go back to MF.
