Emotional eating - anxiety, TOM, stress...OUT OF CONTROL!

    How do you deal???????

    I am not sure if it is the birth control pills that I have been taking but I have never felt so anxious in my life. It's funny, when I get depressed - I don't eat. When I get anxious, I go crazy looking for food. Food that I don't even care about...I just want to munch on something.

    I need to control this QUICK. I am out of control and need to get ahold of myself.

    Help.

  • Going shopping and looking in a 3 way mirror helps.
    Getting naked in front of a mirror helps.
    Going for a long walk or hike helps.
    Trying on clothes that you want to wear again or get into, helps.
    Planning for one treat in yout plan and eating it away from the house, helps.
    A power walk, yoga, kickbxing, pilates, or aerobic class helps.
    Going for your new record in lifting weights helps.
    Writing a list of things to do that you truly enjoy and reading it, helps.
    Journaling your feelings, helps.
