Back after a long hiatus : )

  • Hope you are all well -

    I graduated school last May and started my new career as an emergency room RN last October, and have been on and off the wagon on my own since...

    I took a break from work (I know, already) to deal with some serious depression issues that cropped up and decided that if I'm going to take care of my mind and heal, part of the process is to go back and take care of my body since it's all connected.

    I've been going to therapy 5 days a week. This is my second week and many issues are cropping up that are making me want to eat, so before I get too far ahead of myself, I'm reaching out.

    Today I came home and did not stop eating for a good hour. Mostly healthy foods, I tend to be an oversize portion person, not a junk food person - and am now feeling stuffed and exhausted. As if the emotional stuff was not enough, now I added the physical discomfort.

    But at least that propelled me to come here and get some support.

    Would love to have some feedback, and am looking forward to sticking around for a while this time!
