Hi, I just found this forum!!

    Well, here I go again...on another diet. Not the first time, but hopefully this is the beginning of the end...my last diet...the one that will lead me to a permanent healthy weight!

    I'm really hoping that this forum will help me. I need support. I need to talk about what I'm going through with people that will understand. Don't get me wrong, I have great friends, but most of them are thin...so it's hard for them to understand.

    I look forward to getting to know you and being inspired!

  • I should have included a little more about myself.....

    I'm 37, married to a man that does NOT have a weight problem, and I have 2 wonderful daughters, aged 6 and 4 1/2. I try so hard not to talk about weight or use the "D" word around them, because I don't want them to EVER have body image issues!! I am trying to teach healthy habits to them (now I just need to quit sneaking my bad foods after they go to bed!!!).

    I come from a family where my overweight father died at age 52, and my overweight sister died at 46...both of strokes. So basically...YIKES!!!!! This is serious...time to lose the weight!!!!

  • Whoops, I posted this in the wrong thread! I'm new, forgive me!
    Hi everyone! I'm new. I just found this website by looking up some random weight loss thing I saw on tv and it looked like it could help. We just had a big festival where I live which had funnel cakes, fried chicken, and TONS of other fried foods (like fried oreos which are AMAZING), so I kind of went crazy food wise. I'm currently at 195 pounds and I'm wanting to be around 135-145 and I'm having trouble! Anyways, HI AGAIN! I'm Whitney!
