I won my appeal its a go. So, those of you that have been denied, dont give up. I appealed twice and won

Im a nervous wreck though.

I know, its exciting but Im also scared. My date is Oct 12. I have went through all the pre op stuff and all is well. So on I go. Knees shaking.

To be honest, I havent been perfect with the pre op diet I have to be a real good girl now. Problem is Im a stress eater and im STRESSED!! LOL

I think one of the ladies had Dr. Pennings as well, right??

Major Congrats. I had surgery tuesday so we'll be close.

My surgery is Thursday. I am so excited I can't stand it. I have my chest xray and labs on Tuesday and I start clear liquids and the potassium that day.

WOW!!! all this stuff happening!!! what made the insurance company finally approve the surgery? did they simply realize that they'd just better do it? or was it something you or your doc said?

being nervous is natural - and recognizing you're a stress eater is the first step to figuring out some changes - you can do this!!!!!

Well, I thought outside the box so to speak. I went to the docs office and with a nurse looked over my records asked for certain things that showed we had spoke of diets, and to show tests backing up my many conditions.

I also copied my ww booklets, gym memberships, other diet memberships, took a picture of my diet books and faxed it all to them.

I think sometimes we have to do our own fighting. I sure hope this all goes well.
