I think it's time

  • I have been lurking around here for about two weeks. I found out about that long ago that baby #2 is on the way. I am due May 10th. I am really scared of gaining too much weight this time around. With my son my start weight was about 20 lbs lighter then i am at now and i am still working on lossing that weight 5 years later. and now i am scared it will end up out of control and i will never get to where i want to be.
  • Congratulations mrsaugie!! Try not to stress TOO much about your weight, concentrate on a healthy pregnancy. Incidentally, healthy eating during pregnancy looks a whole lot like healthy eating when you're not pregnant. Make sure to take a prenatal supplement and try to make wise choices with your food. Whole grains, lots of fruit and veggies, lean meats... you do need an extra serving of milk while you're pregnant, but low fat or fat free is great. Remember, it only takes about 300 extra calories per day to grow a baby, far less than most of us eat while we're pg.

    Good luck, keep us updated!
