Running towards Singapore!

  • Hi, I'm k and I'm an 18 year old student. In addition to balancing out my social/academic life, I really want to lose the weight.

At my worst, I was 155lbs, which with my height makes me overweight. I always was the chubby one in the group and I never had any guy finding me attractive. I've decided to change this and I'm working towards a goal of 120lbs before May. Right now, I'm already 7lbs lighter.

I normally count my calories on FitDay, normally averaging out after weekends/social things around 1800. Although, I try to fall around 1700 even with jogging most days. I tend to zig-zag, since no diet can be good if you can't have the foods you love.

Last year, I only committed to exercising and lost 10lbs before figuring out that coffee cake can be canceled out, before I lost control of watching my weight and getting back to my former weight. I really want to lose and keep this off.

In May, I'm going to my dream country on a study abroad and as stupid as it sounds, I want to look and feel my best in order to get everything out this experience! I'm cooking for myself, jog at last four times a week, try to be active and want to commit to a healthier lifestyle. Singapore, here I come!

I feel as if being part of a community where there are so many admirable people committed to finding the best of themselves. I look forward to meeting and befriending you all!

And we thank you for that. This is the only weight loss forum that I've ever seen that has maintainer support.

I've never been on a weight loss forum nor have I ever been this committed to it... so, I'm glad to hear the support is so great.
