Newbie, Lurker, Motivated...and stalled.

  • Hey ladies,

    I've been lurking around for a little bit. I love the positive attitude that everyone puts out. Thought I would finally introduce myself. After an insane scolding from my doctor, albiet deserved, I finally have my motivation for losing this un-needed baggage. My goal is 80 pounds. I'm a little over three weeks in with 21 pounds gone. My body seems to have stalled out on me a bit, but I'm trying to be positive and stay on track as I can't wait to have more/better options as far as clothing. Plus, its always nice to tie my shoes without being incredibly uncomfortable.

    Can't wait to get to know some you gals.

  • Twenty-one pounds in 3 weeks is really fast! Your body may just need time to adjust. Also, if you prowl around the site much you will see some posts that suggest that you can stall weight loss by eating too few calories, counter-intuitive as that seems.
